 Gotgam is a Korean Dried Persimmon (곶감) that is rich in antioxidans. This is usually eaten as a sweet snack. Depending on how long it has been dried the natural sugars of the fruit will crystalize and will appear all around the skin of the dried fruit as if it was powdered sugar. This process is generally desired as it makes the fruit taste better.

Our Gotgam was hand harvested and dried from a small farm in Southern California.
